Welcome to my bitchin' homepage.  On this site, you'll find information about our Vail trip planned for Winter Break 2004, special events, school, special fitness tips that should help you get a perfect summer beach bod, and great links and quotes.

Below is a series of updates.  Look here for new information concerning the Vail trip, school, and any special events happening this summer or during the school year.

Updates:

September 17th
As of yesterday, I have a new e-mail address. If you want to get in touch with me, hit one off to vintage085@gmail.com.  If you want to reach me about something academic or sports related, direct it to geoffrey.r.king@lawrence.edu

September 16th
I'll be leaving for Wisconsin in three days (Sunday the 19th).  Farewell party is Friday night (the 17th) @ Em's place.  If you want to come, dial me.  Beer and WOP will be provided, but bring your own snacks to share!  The fun all begins at 8 pm.

September 12th
As you've probably all heard, Tammie's apartment complex on Vernon caught fire late last night.  Logically, the "Too Hot to Handle" party has been cancelled, and postponed until further notice.  If you want to contribute to Tammie's relief fund, to help her buy new furnishings and clothing, call me, Trent, or Jake.  We've currently collected close to 1,000 dollars, but any more money would be greatly appreciated!

September 11th:
Today, take a moment of silence to honor those who died in the terrorist acts of September 11th, 2001.  We will be holding a candlelight vigil at the lake tonight, and Jesse, who was in New York City from September 5th to the 21st, will talk about his experience with the tragedy, his help cleaning up and aiding victims, and the reactions of the citizens of New York.  Come join us at the dock, 9pm.

September 9th:
Newly updated in "What You Need to Know", read Acne: The Simple Facts and How To Get Rid of It.  Struggled with severe acne or even get a few zits a month?  This will help.  Guaranteed!

September 7th:
Be sure to check out the new "What's Hot" page to get a list of the best places to dine and party in Chicago.  In addition, swing by the all new "What You Need to Know" section to read the weekly-updated collumn full of advice on sex, love, and useful how-to information.

September 3rd:
Check out the new section on how to get perfect abs!  Follow this set routine and diet, and great abs are guaranteed within months.  Better yet... it's free.  If you are serious about getting into shape, contact a personal trainer!  My schedule is currently full, but I can put you in touch with someone who will meet your needs with reasonable rates.

August 30th:
This site details all plans of our Vail 2004 trip including a complete itinerary, mandatory items to be packed, and a full list and limited bio of everyone going on the trip. As of August, no set date has been made for the trip, so we can work around any prior engagements that you might have. If you need to borrow a board, get in contact with Brent, Geoff, or Trez.

Use the navigation bar at your left to visit the various sub-pages of this site to get ready for our trip.

Further questions should be directed to Geoff @ vintage085@hotmail.com or (309) 287-5012. Leave a message and we'll try to get back to you as soon as possible. So strap up and grab your best board kids...

Not an LU student and interested in learning more about campus?  Check out the Virtual Tour of Lawrence University coming soon.  For 2004, incoming freshmen will move in Wednesday September 15th, and returning students on Sunday September 19th.  Classes begin Thursday September 23rd.

THIS... is Kohler hall, my dorm for the '04-'05 academic year.  Built in 1967, it is the tallest dorm on campus with seven floors.  It is unique for its substance free approach to living (no tabacco products or alcohol).  Yeah right...

As you know, Trez and Jake decided we should take suggestions for themes for the Winter Party 2004, and then vote on them.  I've posted the ideas here, and the current results of the voting.  If you haven't voted, e-mail me your vote and I will reflect it on this site.

APPLETON!

citycenter.jpeg

City Plaza located in Mid-Downtown Appleton, a real estate venture launched in the mid eighties which, sadly, never actually made it.  Yet, still an integral part of downtown.

Performing Arts Center was finished in 2003, and is a major feature of downtown.  It attracts Broadway musicals, symphony orchestras, and operas.
